The 2012 LPHA Annual Educational Conference will be held at the Holiday Inn on N.E. Evangeline Thruway in Lafayette, La. on March 28^th, 29^th, and 30^th; the theme is “Healthy Living, Healthy Communities”.  The LPHA Program Committee has planned an exciting program which will include several dynamic keynote speakers as well as sessions on healthy eating, exercise and physical activity,  safety and protection, emergency preparedness and response, oil spill recovery, mental and behavioral health, livable and healthy communities, and more.  

LPHA has an active membership across Louisiana and is an active partner and State Affiliate of the American Public Health Association.  Attendees at the annual conference cover multiple disciplines including physicians, administrators, nurses, immunization specialists, environmental health professionals, emergency management and response professionals, social workers, nutritionists, epidemiologists, disease intervention specialists and investigators, laboratory professionals, administrative professionals, and others working in direct care and allied health professions.   

An important part of LPHA’s annual conference is the Exhibits which provide an opportunity for attendees to learn about available products and services.  The Exhibits will be open on Wednesday, March 28 and Thursday, March 29.   In order to make the 2012 conference as informative as possible for our attendees, we invite your company to be a Sponsor and/or Exhibitor.  We hope you will join us and become an active part of our association’s efforts to promote better healthcare through education.
